Hello! I'm Allie Aufderheide (she/her), an artist living in northern Minnesota. I am originally from the twin cities and studied Studio Art at St. Olaf College. I create primarily using textile mediums and am inspired by nature, landscape, and places I have traveled and/or called home. I'm interested in exploring human interactions with the landscape, ecosystem connections, and environmental themes in my work.
Aside from making art, I love to spend time with my husband, Isaac, and our dog, Nina. I enjoy being outdoors: camping, canoeing, cross-country skiing, and running! I also fill my time with home projects and gardening; and I work as an elementary teacher.
